Activity Log
The Activity Log tab records all actions performed on the testbench, providing a complete history of changes and activities.
Log Information
Section titled “Log Information”Each entry in the activity log shows:
- Action type: What happened (update, reservation, file upload, etc.)
- User: Who performed the action
- Date and time: When the action occurred
- Details: Specific information about what changed
This comprehensive tracking helps understand who made changes and when they were made.
Types of Activities Logged
Section titled “Types of Activities Logged”The activity log tracks various types of actions:
- Updates to testbench information
- Reservations created or modified
- File uploads and downloads
- Notes added or deleted
- Component synchronizations
- Remote session connections
- License plate assignments
- Status changes
Update Details
Section titled “Update Details”For testbench information updates, the log shows detailed information:
- Which fields were modified
- Previous values before the change
- New values after the change
This allows you to see exactly what changed, not just that something was updated.
Log Navigation
Section titled “Log Navigation”For testbenches with long histories:
- Entries are paginated for easier browsing
- Most recent actions appear first in the list
- You can scroll through pages to see older activities
Purpose of the Activity Log
Section titled “Purpose of the Activity Log”The Activity Log serves several important purposes:
- Accountability: Tracking who made what changes
- Troubleshooting: Understanding when issues may have been introduced
- Coordination: Seeing when others have worked with the testbench
- Auditing: Keeping a record of all activities for compliance
This historical record is especially valuable for testbenches used by multiple team members over time.
