Activity Log

The Activity Log tab records all actions performed on the testbench, providing a complete history of changes and activities.

Each entry in the activity log shows:

  • Action type: What happened (update, reservation, file upload, etc.)
  • User: Who performed the action
  • Date and time: When the action occurred
  • Details: Specific information about what changed

This comprehensive tracking helps understand who made changes and when they were made.

The activity log tracks various types of actions:

  • Updates to testbench information
  • Reservations created or modified
  • File uploads and downloads
  • Notes added or deleted
  • Component synchronizations
  • Remote session connections
  • License plate assignments
  • Status changes

For testbench information updates, the log shows detailed information:

  • Which fields were modified
  • Previous values before the change
  • New values after the change

This allows you to see exactly what changed, not just that something was updated.

For testbenches with long histories:

  • Entries are paginated for easier browsing
  • Most recent actions appear first in the list
  • You can scroll through pages to see older activities

The Activity Log serves several important purposes:

  • Accountability: Tracking who made what changes
  • Troubleshooting: Understanding when issues may have been introduced
  • Coordination: Seeing when others have worked with the testbench
  • Auditing: Keeping a record of all activities for compliance

This historical record is especially valuable for testbenches used by multiple team members over time.
